Peter Christopher - Writings on Self and Relationships

Well, you found my self / relationship page. I try to keep it a bit hidden, so only the really serious chums can find it :-) Explore at your own risk! My poems (listed on the writings page) are also somewhat related, but for some reason poetry "can" be more personal whereas prose can be scary for some people when it's too person. So that's why the prose is hidden here but the poetry (which is just as personal) is not.

I once wanted to visit Pangaia, an intentional community in Hawaii. They have quite an interesting and extensive application to visit - check out their application and my answers. I did not go after all.
Fragments from a letter concerning certain teachings of Jesus, Orthodoxy, Relationships, an Commitment. January 2002. This was part of an exchange of letters which ended a long-distance relationship I was in for a while with a Ukranian woman. The odd sitation also sparked me to write a document about what I want to be like in a relationship, what I want my partner to be like in a relationship, and on the benefits of relationship in general: Prompted By Recent Events. And another letter fragment, about commitment and decisions, etc, this one actually I did send. This set of writings shows me at the end of my emotional rope - in some cases, seemig desperate and putting a bit much on the relationship, in another case ("Prompted By Recent Events"), extremely analytical. In both frames of mind, however, there are some interesting ideas - at least they're interesting if you want to know how I tick.
